This is the one that started the "deep V hull" phenomenon and it is the model that started Bertram Yacht's. The 31 "Moppie" won the prestigious Miami to Nassau race 4 years in row. All told Bertram built 1860 31's between 1961 and 1983 before production was discontinued.
This one has the popular 454 cc V-8 gas engines ( It should be noted that the fuel tanks have been replaced with aluminum ). Bertram used fiberglass which is not copatible with ethylnol.
The hull has been recently been algripped a light yellow
Owner is selling because he has purchased a larger Bertram.
