This Cowal 26 offers three berths in one cabin and the saloon. It has good headroom at just over 6ft. There is a V berth in the forward cabin with an infill to make into a double berth, with storage underneath the berth.
Aft of the forward cabin is the heads compartment to starboard with a marine toilet and wet locker opposite.
The saloon has good sized settee berth to Port central table which is fixed to the forward bulk head. On the Starboard side, there is an additional seat that is next to the galley.
The galley has lots of storage space a stainless-steel sink with hand pumped fresh water, paraffin cooker and coolbox. Opposite the Galley is the navigation station with storage space for charts and books.
The companionway steps led up to the cockpit which has good locker space and room for the crew to sit in comfort.
Bermudan sloop with a Masthead rig with deck stepped aluminium mast and aluminium boom. Stainless Steel standing rigging, replaced 10 years ago, Roller reefing mainsail with Furling headsail with Rotostay Furler. Spinnaker Pole. Running rigging replaced 2016. All sails have been valeted in 2016.
This yacht has a Solvay, Stuart Turner, 9.5hp diesel engine located under companionway steps that was fitted in 1980. It has a shaft drive via P-bracket to a two-blade fixed propeller. Seawater cooled. Single lever Morse controls close of the helm position. 25 litre stainless steel fuel tank. Engine has been serviced by the owner. This yacht will cruise at 5 knots and has a maximum speed of 6 knots.
2 x 12 volt batteries (1 x engine + 1 x domestic) charging from alternator. Batteries approx. 3.5 years’ old

Built by Morris/Lorrimer and designed by Maitland Murray. Blue painted GRP hull and grey/white decks with painted non-slip surfaces. Lead shallow fin keel. Tiller steering to spade hung rudder. This yacht has had only 5 owners from new. It has been sailed by the current owner along the East and South Coasts of the UK over the past 10 years. Last out of the water 2 years ago, when it was antifouled and hull polished.
