You can enter the side decks of ALAMAE from either the port or starboard side where you will find port and starboard pilothouse doors for immediate interior access. From the port side deck, you can maneuver the wide side decks with ease. Aft is the open cockpit with a door that enters the aft cabin. The cockpit is large and features a pop-up table and a Magma BBQ grill. The aft cabin top features dingy chocks and a RIB inflatable, teak hand holds, and access to the outboard motor. There is a folding mast that also acts as the dingy davit. Around the starboard side and forward to the bow is easy. The bow has a large hydraulic windlass, anchor access and port and starboard storage boxes.
Back to the pilothouse starboard door you enter the pilothouse. The pilothouse is large and offers wrap-around windows with excellent visibility. Along the port side is a long settee with storage under the cushion and a forward book shelf. Along the starboard side is a fold-up chart table or desk and a chair. The helm is centered and well laid out with all engine controls and gauges within easy reach. Down a few steps on the starboard side you access the forward sleeping quarters. Along the port side is the en-suite head and stand up shower. Along the starboard side is the vanity with a stainless steel sink and storage. The V-berth large with twin berths above on each side. The quarters can accommodate four. There is plenty of storage as well.
Back to the pilothouse and aft is the mid cabin. Down a few steps the steps can be removed for engine room access. The galley stretches the port side of the mid cabin and offers excellent storage and food preparation spaces. Overhead are hanging hooks for cups and pots. Across from the starboard side is the convertible dinette that not only can become a berth, bit also allows the seats to be “extended” in to allow for four. Under the dinette and outboard is plenty of storage. Above the mid cabin is a beautiful butterfly hatch (skylight) for added light.
Further aft is the aft cabin featuring a full size starboard side Pullman berth. Along the port side is the head with plenty of storage and a vanity with stainless steel sink and an aft locker for added storage. There is direct access onto the cockpit where a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail would be delightful.
The galley is in the mid-cabin along the port side. Ample storage and food preparation areas will please the onboard chef. Convertible dinette is across from the galley.

Engine room can be accessed from forward via the steps and panel just forward of the engine, as well as the steps in the galley area. Total 360-degree access around the engine and transmission.
Built in 1975 by Frank Honour in Richmond, BC, as a Pacific Northwest Salmon Troller. “ALAMAE” fished until 1997. Her refit into a yacht was completed in 1999.
Travels: 1975 to 1997: fished the Pacific NW waters.
1998: Trucked to Maine for her refit.
1999 to 2000: Cruised from Maine to the Exumas in the Bahamas and back.
2001 to 2008: Cruised from Maine to various destinations including: SC, The Chesapeake, FL, GA, the Keys, etc.
2014 to 2017 Cruised from Maine to the Florida Keys and back each year.
