Mast and all rigging removed from the boat. Every (and I mean EVERY) bolt, and rivet was removed from the mast, boom and spreaders. They were professionally prepared and painted by CSR.
EVERY piece of rigging from the chain plates up were removed, disassembled, cleaned and inspected. This includes all components of the rod rigging. As necessary items were repaired or replaced.
All electronics, lighting, coax cable and wiring replaced in the mast.
Mast step cleaned and rebuilt with lots of West System epoxy. Oversize, thick aircraft grade phenolic board added between mast step and bottom mast plate to distribute load more evenly.
Rebuilt the hole through deck for mast, again with lots of West System epoxy. Added two Titanium plates to work in conjunction with the two stock stainless steel plates. This eliminated the damaging twisting to the deck at the mast. Big improvement over new.
Mast and chain plates re-bedded 2017.
