The engine has been maintained with care (maintenance log) but you can not justify its number of hours because the clock incorporated in the control panel is broken and nobody seems able to repair it. The consultation of the logbook allowed the previous owner to conclude a maximum use of 1,500 hours from 1996 to 2010 to which must be added about 3,500 hours from 2010 to 2017. The PERKINS PRIMA 60 requires a maintenance every 400 hours or yearly that has been systematically carried out.
The fuel injection pump was changed in 2016 and on this occasion the secondary cooling circuit (exchanger) was replaced with its hoses. Finally the exhaust has also been changed.
The mainsail dates from 2011 and the genoa of 2012. A new lazy-bag was made in 2017. The jib once served and the storm ever. The spinnaker in his sock has hardly ever been used.
Galvanic corrosion is fully mastered; the hull shows no signs of electrolytic attack. It is in perfect condition. The painting (IMRON two components spray gunned) was redone in 1996 during the stay at the shipyard. The anti-slip of the deck was redone in 2007 (silica coated with AWLGRIP: very effective).
The rigging has been redone by Mack sail in Florida in 2012.
The ropes of spinnaker, the halyards of GV and genoa, the balancine were changed in 2015 and are in new state as well as the bumps of reefs. Only the spinnaker halyards are older.
