This is a nice clean example of the traditional "lobster" type boat found in New England. These were built in MA by former employees of the better known Fortier yacht company. The strength and quality of materials is evident and the dark green finish really shines. Electronics were upgraded in 2001. The owner reports economical fuel usage of 5 gph at an 16 knot cruise.

The forward cabin has a V berth, a small sink with pressure cold water and a marine toilet with holding tank and deck pump out. There are side by side "helm" type seats aft of which is fore and aft seating over the engine box. These have closed cell foam so water in not absorbed and were just (June 2008) totally rebuilt and reupholstered.
The electronics are at the helm with a new (2010) Garmin color plotter, fish finder/ depth and GPS. There is a Furuno model 1612 radar, a compass and a VHF radio with new antenna.
There are two marine batteries with selector switch. Circuit breakers protect individual functions. A 30A shore power cord (with 15A adaptor) powers a marine battery charger. There are two electric windshield wipers with new (2008) arms and blades.
The hull is solid glass all the way to the upper rail. A strong aluminum bow rail and pulpit provide security when going forward. A Danforth anchor with chain and rode rides on a roller at the end of the bow platform. The spray rails are moulded in as opposed to attached for added strength. The rudder is skeg mounted and protects the prop in case of grounding. Most cockpit deck panel can be unbolted and removed if necessary and give exceptional bilge access. There is "drop canvas" to enclose the bridge deck and a "bus" type heater to keep the enclosure warm in cooler weather. An air horn makes Dad's Place sound like the Queen Mary.
