"ALBANNACH" is a standard body 55' Selene with three staterooms. Measuring 61'10" true length overall from the end of the bow anchor platform to the stern edge of the swim platform. The popular 55' Selene has evolved from the very 53' Selene. The 2' extra feet in the 55' Selene shows up in the salon, boat deck and engine compartment bulkheads. The interior through out is finished off with Satin finished teak. There are Teak and Holly floors as well in the salon, pilot house and staterooms. The standard body design allows access from the stern to the bow on either side of the vessel. This allows for easy line handling and dock landing.
The salon is accessed aft with a Diamond Sea Glaze dutch split door. This door also benefits from a Phantom dissapearing screen. Upon entering the salon area of this particular Selene one immediately notices that the windows provide for plenty of natural light. The exterior window frames were also custom optioned in stainless steel and feature removable bug screens. Located to the port side of the salon is a large L shaped settee with gorgeous solid teak table. This teak table expands in size for large parties or card games. The salon settee will convert into a berth if desired. Directly to starboard is a pair of custom barrel chairs with designed storage. Located along the starboard side of the salon is tv cabinet with Sharp Aquos Hi/lo TV.
The galley is located to port forward in the salon as well and is u-shaped. Also note in the salon aft located under the Teak Holly sole is a hatch that leads to a commisary storage area. Specifically there is a highly efficient Waeco 24 volt deep freeze as well.
Moving up three steps one enters the pilot house area. The pilot house features a large L shaped settee for the captain or crew. It is also raised by about six inches to help improve outward visibility. There is a day berth for the captain as well immediately aft of the settee. The pilot house features doors on either side for access to the forward decks. Additionally there is a companionway that leads up to the upper helm. Of note the sliding overhead hatch is finished off in polished Stainless steel with clear glass.
Moving forward and located to the starboard side of the pilot house helm are stairs that lead to staterooms. Up foward in the bow is the vip stateroom with island bed hanging locker and over head openning hatch. Just aft of the VIP stateroom is the guest cabin. This guest cabin features an upper and lower berth arrangement. There is also a desk with chair for reading or computer work. Moving aft one enters the master stateroom with full island queen walk around berth. There is abundant custom cabinets for clothes and gear. Owner stateroom also has its own Sharp Aquos TV. The master stateroom ensuite head has a very large walk in shower stall. Custom Shoji panels over port windows in master provide for dispersed light. Located next to the master stateroom is an Asko Washer & Dryer. Of note the floors in the heads are covered with Granite. Both heads feature Tecma fresh water toliets. Located on the starboard aft corner of the master is a dual door that leads directly into the engine compartment.
The galley is located to the port side forward of the salon. It was custom ordered with 6 extra inches of room. There is plenty of storage for pots & pans and galley wares. The location of the galley makes for easy meal preparation and functionality. The main refrigerator is a locally built in Bellingham SeaFreeze unit. It has proven to be a more efficient unit than typical. The compressor is remote mounted in the engine compartment.

"ALBANNACH" features both 24 Volt and 110/220 volt electrical system. AC electrical consist of an 50 Amp 220 volt system. Ships generator power is a Northern Lights 12kw with less than 50 hours on it and a gas/water lift separator for quiet operation. The main AC/DC panels are back lite in blue and are located to port of the pilot house helm. Massive 1200 amp hour 24 volt battery bank with 12 AGM batteries. The Magnum inverter/charger has both wired dual-in and dual-out feeds. There is a remote for the inverter that also gives battery status. Batteries are also charged off of the engine with a 220 amp Balmar alternator.

"ALBANNACH" features the optional Awlgrip Flag blue painted hull. She was also ordered with teak decks aft as well as on the sides of the walk ways. Boarding the yacht is done either by the stern, port or starboard side doors. There are camera's located in the following areas: Yacht-mast, Engine compartment and the stern of the vessel. The tender is a 12' Caribe with a 40hp OB Yamaha lifted by a 1,250 pound Steelhead hydraulic davit which easily lift's the RIB tender. This davit alone was a $26,000 option! The upper helm also benefits from a hard top for sun and rain protection. There are two Todd helm seats for Captain and crew. Directly aft of the helm is a large settee with table. Located next to the settee is the " summer kitchen" with Icemaker, BBQ and sink for direct and meal preparation.
The anchor system features a rode counter switchable to either wildcat. Ground tackle consists of a 100# Bruce and a 88# Delta anchor. Each have 400' of 3/8" ht chain.

"ALBANNACH" is powered with the Cummins QSL-9 rated at 405 hp. Engine has less than 150 hours on it at this time. Generator is a Northern Lights 12kw (1390 hrs) and has less than hours on it. Both the bow thruster and stern thruster are 24 volt DC powered. The water heater is a Sure-just and has the ability to heat water with 120 volt AC, 240 volt AC and hydronic heating element. She also had the factory complete the air conditioning prep option for future possible use.
