VESSEL IS LOCATED IN: Port St. Lucie, FL
Climbing aboard this beautiful, well-laid out vessel, you will step onto a large swim platform that offers seating and stereo speakers. There is also a hide away ladder for easy access out of the water. From the transom, you will enter the large cockpit area that houses rear seating and two large deck hatches. One is a large storage compartment. There is a second hatch for easy access to the vessel's fuel tank. This allows for the gas tank to easily be replaced if it ever becomes necessary, without the need to cut the vessel apart or disassemble part of the boat, as in most vessels. Moving aft there is a large molded seat that when lifted by gas cylinders gives full access to the vessel engine compartment and to service the vessel's on board systems.
Moving forward there is the helm to the starboard side and a passenger seat to the port side. In front of the passenger side is the enclosed head. The helm offers full instrumentation, stereo, Garmin GPS, dual engine controls, tilt steering wheel and a custom helm seat.
Passing the helm you will enter the bow area offering lounge seating both port and starboard. There you will also find a tucked-away anchor compartment.
The 242 Limited utilizes a deep V, multi chime hull with a 20 degree dead rise. The hull and deck are constructed of multiple layers of fiberglass, with sandwich core construction reinforcements. The liner is bonded to the hull with polyurethane adhesive and then injected with foam for maximum flotation and structure strength and rigidity.
The deck is then fastened to the hull with fasteners and polyurethane adhesive.
As a Broker of boats for many years there is a time you see something exceptionally beautiful and well cared for by a meticulous owner, this is that time! The owner only ran the vessel for 50 running hours in the last number of years, due to his work load. Even though, the vessel was always maintained to the highest degree. She was always detailed and kept fully covered by the custom fitted cover.
As I wandered about this vessel I was amazed at the room and spaciousness for a 23’ vessel. I was also amazed that finally a company designed a vessel that could be fully serviced especially her fully accessible fuel tank with a removable hatch and an engine hatch that allowed you to reach and service all the on board systems with ease. In my opinion this is truly a remarkably designed and built vessel that will offer, for its next owners, many years of making memories, whether cruising, fishing, diving or just hanging out! Do not miss this opportunity to own this special vessel at a reasonable price.
