This Maiora 23 is a demonstration yacht which has only been used by the shipyard for boat shows and press events, she was never registered or used privately. She was launched in 2014 and has a 2014 hull identification number but has only approx. 150 engine hours and is being offered as a new stock yacht with a shipyard warranty. Offered at the asking price of € 2.500.000, she represents a substantial saving over the list price of a new Maiora 23 construction which currently stands at € 3.800.000.
Moreover, this particular example benefits from a popular 4-cabin layout and features a beautiful contemporary yet warm interior finished in natural teak with Corian bathrooms and galley countertops. Even the flybridge furniture is made out of teak and Corian giving a much warmer and more luxurious feel than moulded plastic elements. She is also very well equipped with a number of notable optional features such as zero-speed stabilizers, hard top and teak deck on flybridge, hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, CCTV surveillance system and anti-intrusion alarm, domotic system with tactile screen control, centralized vacuum system, additional Pullman beds in twin cabins, etc. She is also fitted with a 220V/50Hz-110V/60Hz frequency converter so is equally ready for use in the United States and the Caribbean. Her flybridge has pre-fittings for a jacuzzi which can therefore be installed very easily if required.
Powered by twin light and compact MAN 1360hp. common-rail engines, she tops out at 27/28 knots and can cruise continously at 23/24 knots. At her economical cruising speed of 20 knots, she burns only 300 liters/hour (80 US gallons/hour) allowing a cruising range of over 500 NM. These modern and compact engines also make for a very comfortable engineroom with perfect accessibility to all machinery and equipment. She is a perfect family yacht which offers the strength, feel and cruising capability of a much larger yacht but can easily be handled by an owner-operator with the help of only one crew. Maiora yachts are usually custom-built only to order and this is a unique opportunity to purchase a never-used Maiora at a fraction of her replacement cost.
