"Marianne has proved to be such a wanderful little vessel that she has formed the basis for several fine cruisers...The longer we look at the plans of Marianne, the more we envy Carl Lindmann ( first owner) and the more we realize that for such type of craft it would be difficult indeed to find a better ship. She has faithfully carried her owner trough storm and sunshine and he is indeed a fortunate man to posses a lovely example of present day tendency in small cruising craft....She combines speed, sea keeping ability and comfort in a wonderful manner..."
