This legendary yacht has its origin on the Nevins yard in New York where it left the yard in 1938. After a limited number of owners, among whom several famous personalities, the yacht found her
way to the Netherlands in 2002 where she underwent a major refit or rather where she was rebuild. Almost 60% of he strakes of the underwater-ship was renewed, new piping and tanks, electrical system and equipment, hydraulic steering-system and much more. Above this all a complete new interior was designed and installed. This extensive overhaul was finished in 2006. After her re-launch her successful career as a ocean racer continued and over the years she underwent more renewals. The mast and most of the rig have been replaced in 2015, the Garmin navigation instruments have been brought up to date, the batteries have been renewed and the hull was freshly painted in 2017.
Although the yacht is designed for competitive racing she is remarkable comfortable to live on and easy to sail. Deck equipment as winches blocks and jammers are state of the art.
The re-designed interior does the character of the classic yacht right but is still comfortable and well equipped. The galley carries a fridge, an oven with a ceramic cooker and a microwave.
The salon, with its comfortable elegant setup with two large sofas in brown leather, breaths a sophisticated warm nautical atmosphere.
