1959  Wishbone-Ketch PROJECT SINTRA  - needs to be restored!

PRICE JUST REDUCED to EUR 185.000 - KEEN SELLER!

The beautiful classic sailing yacht SINTRA was launched in 1959, at the legendary German shipyard of Abeking & Rasmussen. As one of only six A&R yachts rigged as a Wishbone-Ketch, she remains as one of the most impressive classic yachts in the sailing world and is now offered for sale. Steeped in history the steel built SINTRA is a magnificent example of elegant design, classical performance and comfort. This classic sailing yacht was both, fast and stable capable of 13-15 knots on a reach in a good breeze. SINTRA holds an excellent record at the Antigua Race Week as well as various Mediterranean classic yacht races. Her list of owners shows names like the German coffee producer Edgar Bohlen, or the Italian automobile family Gianni Lancia. In the end Sintra came back home and is now moored in Bremen, waiting for a new owner who will wake up the sleeping beauty. Sintra has had some better days in past and so there is some work needed and we would love to assist you in bringing her back to former glory.
