"Sea Moon" has substantial scantlings exceeding those to be expected in a 45 foot vessel. She is stoutly built of edge glued and bronze nailed mahogany strip planking over white oak frames, with a raked stem, round bilge, plumb counter, keel hung rudder and wine glass transom stern.

Moving from the spacious cockpit through the companionway and down the steps, the U-shaped galley is to port, with the refrigeration and freezer located opposite to starboard. Forward from the galley is the dinette, and across to starboard is a large settee that converts to a double berth, with the master stateroom comprising a double pullman berth forward to port and a large hanging locker to starboard. The manual head and anchor chain locker are located in the forepeak.
The interior has a beamed overhead, with four opening hatches including a beautiful butterfly hatch midships, and there are also eleven large opening bronze ports. Cabinetry throughout is well designed and beautifully finished and varnished.There is excellent storage throughout the vessel.
