Owner's Comments
Gallant is a factory finished Westsail 32 built in Costa Mesa, CA. She is hull # 141 out of the 800+ Westsail 32s that were built.
Pictured in the July 1976 issue of Playboy magazine as part of “The Playboy Boat Stable”.
Current owners have owned and sailed her for last 18 years. Sailed exclusively in freshwater on Lake Michigan for the last 16 years.
Gallant has been hauled every winter and stored in indoor heated storage.
Rigging is inspected every year by boat yard when mast is stepped.
Exterior brightwork is refreshed every winter using Epifanes clear gloss varnish.
No teak decks. Topside is painted in white Kiwi Grip non skid. Refreshed every three seasons.
In 2014, the owners added many upgrades and new equipment including:
