If you are looking to own a piece of classic Dare County boat building history, then you can't go much deeper than this little gem built by Warren O'Neal in 1975. Built originally as the Pee Wee Jr. for the same family that owned the larger 40' Pee Wee, this boat has stood the test of time. Capt. Warren was the first to build this style boat on the Outer Banks, with the easy shearline flowing into the flare and sharper entry forward. Many of Dare County's boat building legends worked alongside him like Omie Tillett, Sheldon Midgett, Billy Holton, Buddy Cannady, Buddy Davis and Sonny Briggs.
The boat is powered by a single Cummins 250 and offers an open wheelhouse layout. She makes an easy 16 kt cruise and sips fuel. With bunks and storage down below, she'd make a fine inshore fishing rig or a great boat to do some local cruising. The current owner of the 'GRACIAS' put the boat in the shop at Daniel's Boatworks in 2017 and rebuilt the deck out of composite material, replaced the engine box, rewired the whole boat and gave her a full paint job. She is a smooth riding, fun little rig that is steeped in history and is the very essence of the early years of traditional plank on frame boat building on the Outer Banks.
