The Pearson 10M has a well-deserved reputation as a quintessential racer/cruiser earned over decades of both types of activities. Designed by Bill Shaw, the model had a production run between 1973-1981 during which 225 boats were built. Finale is Hull #106. Her primary use has been Great Lakes cruising. The boat is well built, very stable and both a fast cruiser as well as a competitive PHRF racer. She is a versatile boat offering a variety of sailing opportunities at very modest purchase and maintenance costs.
She has had six coats of West System epoxy barrier coat and Awl-Grip paint on the topsides of the hull. sometime in the past. The deck non-skid appears to have been painted sometime in the past. There are custom cherry cabinet doors in the interior.
