Rattler's layout is inspired by sailors who have spent time offshore as well as sailors who merely spend weekends cruising or overnight racing.
On deck in the "T" shaped cockpit, there is good visibility as well as maneuverability for captain and crew. the mid boom traveler keeps the cockpit area uncluttered, while still allowing the crew to handle all lines that lead aft to the cockpit.
Below, there is an immediate nav station to port which allows good communication to the cockpit.
the "U" shaped galley to starboard is secure and large enough to handle the feeding of crew. Or merely passing refreshments up to the cockpit.
Accommodations handle 7. Starting forward in the "V" berth with hanging locker and built in drawers. The head is aft of the V berth area to port complete with sink and shower.
The main salon has a drop down table as well as a settee to port. Opposite are two stacked berths which double as a sitting area.
Aft of the nav station to port is a pilot berth.
