The Pearson 365 is well regarded as a durable, easily handled and responsive cruising boat, offering good accommodation and practical features. Kamal was originally outfitted and improved by a marine engineer in the late 1990’s for an around the world trip and, as a result, her systems are well appointed throughout—all lines are accessible from the cockpit, the instruments around the nav. table allows for centralized monitoring of the systems. The current owners purchased Kamal in 2000 and have maintained her since then. Such a schedule led to the recent discovery that the engine had frozen up and needed to either be rebuilt or replaced. Kamal has been based in Grenada since 2003 and sailed the Caribbean waters every season for 4-5 months. The owners have decided it is time to move on and have reluctantly put Kamal up for sale, however, it has recently been discovered that the engine is now seized and need to either be rebuilt or replaced. She has been listed at a reduced price to reflect this and once this work is completed, she will be a great cruising boat, ideal for the Caribbean or wherever her next adventure may take her.

We had KAMAL surveyed in 2009 and there were no surprises. She is a great boat and we have really enjoyed her during our ownership.
