Feb 2018 - 41 ft Morgan Out Islander Ketch 415 Hull # 100 - Heading for the Bahamas? Want to explore the islands? This is your boat! Every serious sailor knows the capabilities of the superbly-designed Morgan 41 Out Island, for her ease of handling, rugged stability, smooth passagemaking, and excellent, very comfortable aft-cabin design and layout.
Charlie Morgan built these OI’s for the Bahamian sail charter trade. Hence, the Morgan Out Islands are comfortable, roomy, easy-to-sail, and very forgiving in handling by the 'inexperienced'. OutIslander’s have a shoal draft (4.5 ft) to navigate the shallow banks and bays of the "Baha Mer", - Bahamas (Shallow Sea). The Out Islander motors as fast as she sails (6-7 kts). EOS plows well into the trade winds. Leaving Key Largo’s, Angelfish Creek in the morning, EOS can be tied up at the docks in Bimini, Bahamas in time to clear in, by 4:30 PM. She's also very familiar with the Berry’s, the Abacos, and the Exumas.
EOS is especially well equipped, and essentially a turn-key cruiser. She's Hull #100, and for the past dozen years, has been actively cruising the Keys and Bahamas, down to the Dry Tortugas. With every conceivable necessity, in addition to numerous specialty modifications successfully incorporated by her highly experienced scientist-owner, EOS will take you where you need to go in safety, comfort and style! Her machinery is bright and clean, her sail inventory is complete, and she's ready to splash immediately.
Come to Marathon and witness for yourself what EOS (Greek Goddess of the Dawn), has to offer you! Call anytime.

Additional Information from the SELLER:
"Ketch mizzens, as opposed to Yawl mizzens, are usually much bigger, stronger and allow more power from the aft sail. Eos has 5 sails. The usual main, mizzen, a huge genoa, all standard and the first two fully battened. And a "staysail" for heavy weather and light air performance. It flies from the second stay inside the Genoa jib; also a large slightly asymmetrical spinnaker. I'll be pleased to answer questions on the phone and if the timing works out, I will even help a buyer commission her; rigging sails, covers, wind and solar gear etc."
