The interior of Seminole Wind is teak with white overhead panels, the floors are Teak and holly. Finishes are nicely maintained with new upholstery in 2014. Eleven opening ports and two opening hatches. Cabin is well ventilated due to all of her opening ports and plenty of natural light.
Starting forward is the v-berth cabin. There are teak battens on the ceilings with shelves along the length of the berth to both port and starboard with white overhead panels. The V-berth has an insert in order to convert to a comfortable double. When the insert is not in place, a dressing settee with lockers on each side is easily accessed. A vanity is aft and to starboard with two drawers under and cabinet above. A small hanging locker is aft and to port of the berth. A hatch in the forward bulkhead accesses the chain locker. Two opening ports and an opening hatch provide good ventilation.
Aft and to starboard of the forward cabin is a large hanging locker with shelf above. The head is to port and consists of an integral shower, Raritan electric head and stainless steel sink inset in the outboard vanity. Storage is available in lockers above and below the vanity.
Aft is the spacious main salon. Settees are port and starboard with a removable custom table allowing increased accessibility, original Cape Dory teak table available on sale if desired. The port settee pulls out to make a wider berth with storage behind each settee with three lockers and shelf above. The U-shaped galley is to port of the companionway and functional layout for cooking at underway or at anchor. The stainless steel sink is set into a forward counter with a New three burner Force Ten stove outboard, microwave and icebox along the aft counter. Hot and cold pressure/manual fresh water and pressurized salt water are available at the galley. Plenty of storage in drawers, cabinets with sliding door enclosures and outboard shelf for dishes and glassware.
The navigation station is to starboard of the companionway. The top opening chart table is well sized and easily accommodates charts and navigation tools. Ample storage with shelves above and locker aft and outboard of the chart table and inward facing drawers below.
The quarter berth also serves as a seat for the navigation station. The berth is wide and comfortable berth or a great place to stow additional gear. Outboard ceilings are teak with a long shelf that runs the length of the berth. Additional engine access is along the inboard side of the berth. Plenty of Headroom above the quarter berth.
The companionway ladder has four teak steps. The galley surface wraps behind the stairs with electrical panel and battery switches on the aft bulkhead. The counter section is removable for good engine access.
The hull is white gelcoat, black bottom paint (barrier coat applied in 2015) and red red boot stripe. The hull is molded in one piece and consists of hand laid fiberglass and pigmented gelcoat. The deck is also molded in one piece and laid up with hand laid fiberglass with balsa core. She has a full keel with attached rudder allowing her to beat to windward or track easily in a downwind blow. The bow sprit and caprail are teak as are the cockpit coamings, coach top hand holds, teak cabin side strake and dorade boxes.
