SPARMAKER has been sailed, cruised, and maintained by one family under two generations of owners.She is a very responsive, stable, and seaworthy vessel. Well suited for PHRF racing one week, and cruising the next, you will find her comfortable in either role.
Her engine was just totally rebuilt. She has had only two hours use since being reinstalled. Full details can be viewed in the "Descriptions" section below.
The diesel auxiliary was removed this summer for a total rebuild by an authorized Yanmar mechanic. It was reinstalled on 8/19/2020, so there are only two hours on it now. The work included:
Sleeps six with one stateroom forward. Owners cabin is forward with vee berth, filler cushion, storage shelves and a locker. A large overhead hatch provides light & ventilation.
The enclosed head compartment is midships to starboard with vanity & sink with hot & cold pressure water, marine toilet with Y valve and holding tank, hand held shower, opening port & hatch. A hanging locker is opposite.
The salon is equipped with a large L-shaped dinette to starboard that drops to form a double berth, center line drop leaf table and settee/single berth to port. Storage shelves are outboard.
The U-shape galley is aft to port with double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water, ice box with drain pump, two burner propane gimballed stove/oven with safety bar, storage outboard and below counters. A cabinet door opens to the trash bin located in the sail locker.
The navigator's table is opposite to starboard with lift top and storage below. Some electronics are located in the bulkhead here while others are cockpit mounted. Ships electrical switch panels are located outboard. A large open quarter berth is aft with opening ports inboard and outboard for cross ventilation.
