Accommodations
The Monk 36 sleeps 6 in a 2 stateroom layout and is known for great amounts of storage. She features 6'5" of headroom throughout The forward cabin features a generously sized V-berth, opening overhead hatch for good ventilation, two shelves, two drawers, four lockers and an ensuite head containing a manual head, sink and vanity. The main salon houses the "L" shaped galley which is located starboard aft, "L" shaped settee to Port with adjustable hard mounted table which converts to a double and the main helm located Starboard forward. The main salon also has two port and starboard doors to side decks, opening windows and tons of storage in cabinets and drawers. The master stateroom is aft and is a prime feature of the Monk 36, providing a centerline bed for walk-around comfort and a nine foot hanging locker plus seven drawers for unequaled storage for the live-aboard. The ensuite head for the master cabin has a separate stall shower.

The galley has good counter space for food prep, deep sinks and lots of storage thanks to undercounter drawers, extensive storage under the settee and an under sink cabinet.
