This well maintained and little used Roxane, a design by Nigel Irens, is a real eye catcher. Nigel Irens is best known for much larger designs including catamarans. The Roxane is perfect for a day or weekend on the water. Because of the center sword (maximum draft 1.76, minimum 0.76) and balast, the boat is extremely suitable for sailing on the IJsselmeer, Wadden Sea and coastal waters. The boat is made of polyester with mahogany superstructure, teak on the roof of the superstructure and teak on the deck. Inside the boat is nicely finished with lacquered mahogany (Gemini-Teak Enkhuizen (NL), which in combination with the blue upholstery gives a cozy appearance.
Upon entering, there is a sink with a tap on the left and a stove on the right. In the salon there are 2 long sofas, which can also be used as a sleeping place. For the colder days there is a possibility to heat the salon with the existing heater. In the front of the boat there is firstly a room with a toilet on the right and storage room on the left, followed by a double bed in the bow. By using daylight prisms in the deck, there is light in the cabin, even when the hatch is closed. The Yanmar 1-cylinder diesel engine is easily accessible for maintenance by simply removing the stairs. The 100 Ah battery was renewed in September 2019 and can be charged with a separate solar panel.
