The North Star's Salon is bright, spacious with large windows and inviting decor. The sliding glass door reveals a fully enclosed cockpit creating an extended living space fully protected from the elements. A large integrated swim grid bordered with Stainless Steel Safety Rails and two walk- thru transom gates offer safe movement for guests. The main engine room access hatch is conveniently in located the cockpit sole.
Upon entry to the Master you will be greeted by cherry wood vanity, a full walk-around, king-sized bed, well appointed en-suite head and ample storage in the hand crafted cabinetry. There is a built-in settee, generous cedar lined storage closet and entertainment center.

When exiting the Aft Master, the first Guest Stateroom is to the Port Side of the Vessel with Upper & Lower Berths. The Berths have Custom Bedding, three Storage Cabinets at each bed, a Large Cedar Lined Closet with a Mirrored Door and Entertainment Center.

The Chef's Galley is located mid ship, to port, aft side of the pilothouse deck. It is bright, spacious, has great visibility of the surrounding vessel, and is a pleasure to prepare meals in. The U-shaped galley has large granite counter tops featuring top appliances, great storage, and a starboard preparation side-bar with granite counter top, and additional storage.

This is a well layed out, roomy Pilothouse, includes the dining settee to port aft and the Chef's Galley is connected with a pass through. To the starboard side is the Cherry Wood Stainless Steel stairway to the enclosed fly-bridge. There are access doors to the side decks port and starboard. The vessel's main electrical panels are mounted on the port side of the pilothouse.
The Helm Chair is by Stidd, Ship's Wheel is Stainless Steel and the console is covered in Ultra Leather housing 2 Hatteland Large Screen Monitors linked to the Furuno NavNet 3D Navigation system offering a very clean appearance and ease of use. The 73' North Star Pilothouse has a Hard Top with a Barrett/Rainer fully enclosed Upper Helm, seating for 10 and great visibility underway. The Ocean-Air Acrylic door opens to the bridge deck entertainment area with a large Capital BBQ station, a Stainless Steel Capital Grill, Sub Zero Freezer (2013), Danby Chest Freezer (2013), U-Line Refrigerator (2013), Hot & Cold Water and a Propane Locker accommodating 2 x 20 lbs LPG Tanks.
The Dinghy Davit is a Nick Jackson 1500 lb Electric/Hydraulic lift used to manage the Williams 325 Jet Tender.
There is a 6 Person Zodiac Coastal Life Raft mounted on the starboard side (Requires Re-Certification), Life Jackets, Fire Extinguisher, Heaving Life Ring and Heavy Duty SS Safety Railings surrounding the Deck.
Bridge Helm & Equipment:
The Helm is centered with complete Engine & Navigation Controls and Instrumentation. The twin, Stidd Helm Chairs and the large forward facing L-shaped cruising settee offer comfort and safety at sea.
The North Star has a large fore deck with recessed, covered, non-skid, side decks, and stainless steel railings for safe movement around the vessel. The Hydraulic Windlass is a Maxwell 3500 with 300' of 3/8" Stainless Chain and a 50 Kg Bruce Primary Anchor with Wash-down. (The Bow Thruster is Hydraulic and the Stern Thruster is Electric.)
The raised Pilothouse features a center helm station, a large cockpit with dual stainless steel transom gates, and a molded integrated swim platform with u-shaped stainless steel safety rails. The cockpit sole is 1" teak and there are 2 shore power stations with powered glendenning cable retrieval. Hot and cold shower and plenty of storage.
The hull, deck & super structure lamination's are built to ABS Standards. Hand-laid fiberglass molded hull with structural coring. Superstructure and decks are hand-laid FRP with divinycell/baltek coring. The keel and the chines are FRP with 5 structural bulkheads bonded to the hull and 5 bilge areas with bilge pump out system.
Engine Room access is from the aft cockpit which leads you to a full stand-up engine room that allows ease of servicing to all critical systems on board. the Engine Room overhead and bulkheads are lined with 1/2" lead foam sound insulation and the carpet lead foam underlay in the Salon provide noise suppression while underway. The current owner has excellent service records, systems manual and has also created an extensive Ship's Operations Manual for quick reference to procedures and trouble shooting of critical systems.
