Over The Edge is a super well maintained, blue-water equipped, Frers-designed Hallberg-Rassy 39. She was delivered to Seattle and has light use cruising the Pacific Northwest. Outfitting includes Brookes & Gatehouse color radar chartplotters, Robertson autopilot, Port Townsend Sails, Fisher Panda genset and Spectra water-maker to name just a few. Below she has the optional offset double berth with sofa in the aft stateroom, separate freezer and Force Ten stove. Over The Edge is an exceptional example of this high quality blue water cruising sailboat.
The Hallberg-Rassy 39 is a nicely sized yacht. Small enough to day sail yet large enough to comfortably circumnavigate. Many sisterships have been used by families for local Northwest cruising while others have won their class in the ARC rally and then gone on to circumnavigate. Storage is phenomenal for a sub-forty foot boat while comfort is optimized through Hallberg-Rassy's evolutionary (vs. revolutionary) boat design program. The quality of space is excellent and ergonomics of the settees, cockpit and deck layout leave owners appreciating their boats more and more with time.
Swiftsure Yachts sold this boat in 2007 and again in 2016 (to her current owners). And she looks better today then she did thirteen years ago! Contact Bob Schoonmaker to arrange a showing.
