BRAND NEW COMPOSITE DECK fitted for the beginning of 2020.
The Oyster 56 is one of Oyster's most successful models. Designed by Rob Humphreys, she is a supremely comfortable bluewater cruiser, capable of taking oceans in her stride and accommodating her crew with plenty of room to spare, yet she can also be handled by just two.
Not only is she stylish and comfortable, but the 56 has class wins in the ARC and has also won Cruising Class 1 at Antigua Sailing Week.
Oyster Blew is a four-cabin version with Reckmann Hydraulic Furling. She has just successfully completed the Oyster World Rally and is now in the Hamble UK.
Re-engined circa 2008 and re-rigged in 2014 and now in 2020 she has also had a brand new composite deck fitted.
Her owner commented on her 2017-2019 Rally performance:
"She performed fantastically well and is the perfect boat for bluewater cruising. We passage planned for 170 mile days and on occasion achieved 200. We had very few issues with any of her systems and those we did have were rectified and have not reoccurred. In all weather conditions, we had complete confidence in the boat..."

OWNERS COMMENTS:
Oyster Blew was purchased in 2016 and refitted to participate in the 2017-2019 Oyster World Rally. She performed fantastically well and is the perfect boat for blue water cruising. We had very few issues with any of her systems and those we did have were rectified and have not reoccurred. In all weather conditions, we had complete confidence in the boat, and with very little work she would be ready to go again.
