Polluting nothing. Not the Air. Not the water. Not your ears.
Environmentally accurate and evoking a sense of leisure and elegance of an era gone by, Brookins electric powered launches are esthetically and thematically appropriate for a variety of eco-tourism settings and applications.
ELECTRA was designed and built specifically as a water taxi vessel to USCG, COI (Certificate of Inspection) standards, owner never completed the COI process for this particular vessel, however, inclining and stability tests were conducted.
ELECTRA (25 ft x 20 passenger model), during the 2005 TransPac Ocean Race festivities, singularly transported 2,340 people in six days. While operating 14 hours per day, non-stop, only 28% of the stored battery capacity was consumed while shuttling 13 to 17 passengers every trip at cruising speeds.
Some ideas for commercial adventures:
Harbor tours, watching Friday Nite Race start/finish, a “Green Flash” outing, an “under the Fireworks” cocktail ride, bottom fishing outside the channel, and/or a snorkel dive in the bite would all make for a good variety of applications with 1 to 3 hour agendas.
Aloha! We look forward to working with you and helping make your dreams come true.
