The hull is full round design in ¼ inch steel. The deck is 3/16 steel. The entire deck and 700 square feet of the hull were replaced in Trinidad in 2008.
The interior was removed and the entire vessel hull was sandblasted inside and out. Two coats of Ameron 385 (a two part epoxy primer) were applied over a coat of zinc rich epoxy. The hull was faired and painted with Awlcraft 2000.
The interior was installed using the AMEL 54 layout as a model. Woods were mahogany and african mahogany. The forward and amidships soles are teak and holly. The interior is approximately 95% complete.
