It is a 45 ft. Sea cruiser, with corresponding keel and rudder. Due to the great draft of the hull, the internals are arranged deep, so that the center of gravity is very low.
The hull is made of molded mahogany veneer, thickness of each layer 4mm, outer layer 6mm. Inner keel, inner stem and beam walker are also made of mahogany. Total thickness of the outer skin is 30mm. Floor plates, frames and keel are given in the area of the mast and the keel as load absorption. Corresponding bulkheads and longitudinal walls of appropriate thickness are incorporated as an interior and support the deck structure. Deck and cockpit surfaces are made of plywood with teak deck. The body side and front wall are 3-ply molded.
The hull outer skin is cleaned, sanded, tinted and painted accordingly. The teak surfaces are potted with rubber and remain untreated. The interior is made of mahogany and painted. The inner surfaces of the fuselage and all wooden fittings have been primed and coated.
The lead ballast is mounted in the front area of the keel. The keel is bolted with angle plates through the floor frames. The deadwood is from Kambala. The total weight of the lead target is 6,500 kg.
Due to the low center of gravity and the classic hull shape, the angle is extremely high until it capsizes to about 155 degrees. In addition, the maximum righting moment is about 80 degrees, a value that is about 20 degrees above that of modern yacht. As a result, the reefing is required only at higher wind speeds
