The Lagoon 52 marked a change in design for Lagoon. With naval architects VPLP, the choice was to move the mast further aft giving a larger forward triangle, more sail choices and better performance. The Lagoon 52 is one of the first cruising catamarans to benefit from this set-up. Add to this diamond-shaped vertical bows, bevelled hulls and a tall rig and you have an elegant and streamlined design.
Manjaro has the square topped mainsail in hydranet and code 0 gennaker as options to the standard set-up. She’s the flybridge version, with Lagoon’s trademark raised helming area which with the 52 has double access and a large lounge area. Her helming station is equipped with full B&G electronics including a huge 16-inch Zeus2 plotter and 4 electric winches. The bimini has been added as an option, making this area not only comfortable for managing the boat, but also an excellent entertainment area.
Lagoon has once again improved their interior design with the 52, giving even more living space than earlier similar sized models and better flow between living areas. Manjaro is the owner’s version, with a generous owner’s suite as well as 3 additional cabins, all ensuite, and one with a private entrance from the cockpit. The saloon flows seamlessly from the cockpit, which has a full covering for sun and shade, making an extended living area. The galley is fully equipped with De Dietrich hob, Italian made Glem oven, Miel dishwasher, 2 fridges and 2 freezers, microwave. The chart table faces forward and is also fully equipped with B&G electronics. There is hot and cold air-conditioning throughout.
Manjaro is equipped with all options needed for blue water cruising, including water maker, solar, generator. The electrical systems can work off both 110V or 220V, 50 or 60Hz. The optional tender lift is installed, which makes a great swimming platform as well.
Manjaro is an exceptional boat in that almost every option that Lagoon offers is on board. She’s a one owner, never chartered boat, with all systems in excellent working order, ideal for someone looking for a prestigious boat that remains easy to handle and almost new.
