Nordic Tug 44 Walkthrough Entering Nordic Explorer from the aft cockpit, there is a L-shaped seating area to starboard with a table across from the port Sapele side cabinetry containing the Samsung 26 inch TV and Fusion stereo system. Engine room access is through the salon Amtico sole. Forward of the salon to port is the well equipped U-shaped galley.Up the LED lighted starboard side steps is the pilothouse with dual helm seats, electronics, engine controls and port and starboard sliding doors to the decks. Aft of the helm seats is a settee/berth with a fold out computer table.A few steps down from the galley, the central passageway leads to a nav station/office to starboard and the guest stateroom to port with sleeper sofa. Continuing forward, the guest head, complete with separate shower is to starboard. The master suite with centerline queen berth, storage and a full head is in the bow.
Nordic Tug 44 Accommodations Nordic Explorer offers a master cabin with center-line queen berth, a guest cabin with settee that converts to a double berth, salon settee pull out berth and a pilothouse watch berth.
Nordic Tug 44 Pilothouse The custom expanded pilothouse design offers dual Liebrock helm chairs with access to a three sided instrument console and overhead console with radios and instruments. Large windows and screened overhead hatch give good visibility and add plenty of light to the pilothouse as well as the salon below. Access to the decks is through sliding doors to port and starboard. Aft of the helm seats is an UltraLeather covered settee which converts to a watch berth, with storage area and a fold out computer table. The aft wall has a book storage cabinet flanked by screened windows, allowing visibility astern. An extra storage area has also been added on the port side of the helm. A deep, full-sized chart drawer is at the starboard side f the helm. Red chart reading lights nd USB/12volt outlets are on each side of the console. Engine and thruster controls are positioned for maximum visibility through the salon to the cockpit for mate safety. The ceiling height in the pilothouse ranges from 6'3" to 6'5". Nordic Tug 44 Salon Large windows, with valanced day/night shades, run along both sides of the salon. The L-shaped seating area, with folding 28x40 high-low Sapele wood table, is on the starboard side and converts to a berth. Sapele wood cabinetry runs on the port side and houses the TV and stereo. Aft windows to port and starboard flank the door to the aft cockpit for light and added visibility. USB and 12 volt outlets for computer and entertainment devices. The engine room is accessed through two hatches in the Amtico sole.

Nordic Tug 44 Master Stateroom The master stateroom features a center-line walk around queen berth (6'6" length), flanked by Sapele wood cabinets with hanging lockers and drawers, and carpeted steps. There are large drawers under the bed as well as a large storage area under the custom firm innerspring hinged mattress (Seattle Mattress Company). The berth is equipped with a Hypervent pad under the mattress, custom fitted mattress protector pad and two fitted bottom sheets. Built in USB charging ports, 12 volt power source, as well as 120 volt electrical outlets are located bedside. Ceiling lights and bedside lamps augment the lighting provided by two 12" round port lights and ceiling hatch. The screened port lights and hatch open for added ventilation. The 7'6" high ceiling contributes to the light and open feel. Access to the chain locker is at the head of the mattress. Nordic Tug 44 Heads The starboard side guest head (ceiling height 6'11") and ensuite master head (ceiling height 6'9") both offer vanities with Corian top/sink, Sapele cabinetry, Tecma EasyFit Eco toilets, and showers with 6'5" ceiling height. Ducting from the forward MarineAir hvac system provides heating and cooling to each head in addition to a separate power exhaust fan. Each has an opening, screened portlight for added light and ventilation.
