World Renowned builders McConaghy Boats are again spearheading the construction of the latest Ker designed 40 footer. The 40+ is the second generation design of the original Ker 40, which benefits from several years of development and optimisation from the first boat.
Three construction versions of the design are available;
Construction - Ker 40+ Ker 40+ as per specifications (Eglass) Hull and Deck constructed from vacuum consolidated eglass/epoxy/foam sandwich. Additional reinforcements for deck fittings and other highly loaded areas. Internal structure vacuum consolidated eglass/epoxy/foam sandwich construction with unidirectional reinforcements.
Construction - Ker 40+ Grand Prix Ker 40+ Grand Prix as per specifications (carbon, foam) Hull and Deck constructed from infused carbon/epoxy/foam sandwich. Additional reinforcements for deck fittings and other highly loaded areas. Internal structure infused carbon/epoxy/foam sandwich.
Construction - Ker 40+ Prepreg Ker 40+ PrePreg (Carbon, Nomex) Prepreg Carbon and Nomex Hull, Deck and Structure. Additional reinforcements for deck fittings and other highly loaded areas. Internal structure prepreg carbon and nomex.
