The Swift Trawler 50 is the flagship of the range. A long distance motor yacht for the cruising couple who love their home comforts and enjoy entertaining guests. Beneteau has resigned this traditional classic trawler for comfort, luxury and safety for blue water adventures. Driving from the redesigned flybridge is exhilarating with great visibility from the elevated platform. Thanks to the IPS pod drives, the Swift 50 accelerates easily and cuts through choppy water with no rise.
Entertaining is easy on the flybridge thanks to an outdoor galley with worktop, sink and optional fridge and grill. The wraparound lounge area is centred around a large sliding, folding table and the helm and observer can easily join the party as their seats swivel. An innovative service hatch under the seating connects to a dumbwaiter in the galley so it makes dining on the top deck super easy. The built in spotlights and speakers and subtle lighting from the LEDs in the bimini create a gorgeous ambience. The large flybridge also has enough room to store a tender with an optional hydraulic crane. If you find the perfect swimming spot, the hydraulic swim platform with swim ladder allows easy access to the water. Forward, a tilting sun lounger provides a relaxing spot to curl up with your favourite book and sunbathe.
The Swift 50 interior is cleverly designed for practical living and easy entertaining in style. The elegant interior has a contemporary feel with high gloss varnish finishes on Maghogany woodwork. Layout options include a three stateroom and two bathrooms with large double cabins or two double cabins with office and extra berth. Enter the saloon through the large sliding glass doors and experience high ceilings and huge opening windows on both sides offering plenty of light and space. There is a L-shaped saloon bench seat and a folding table that can be used as an occasional table. Widen it out for dinner or fold it away to convert the seating into a double berth for occasional overnight guests.
A highlight has to be the U-shaped galley which makes cooking meals away from home easy and enjoyable. Features include a 3 burner electric stove, storage and double basin stainless steel sink. The opening window allows for plenty of ventilation. Beneteau have come up with a few features to make life on board hassle-free too: Take the rubbish disposal at the sink. It links to the side deck - so no need to walk through the saloon carrying rubbish. The addition of a dumbwaiter allows food to be served on the upper deck - without having to carry it up the stairs. Through the companionway to the aft you'll find the master stateroom with island berth complete with leather headboard and trims. No need to duck down as the ceiling has a 6 ft 2 inch clearance. Ample storage with large closets and a vanity or desk. The ensuite is split with a separate shower including sink and toilet with sink. Choose between a guest room with double bunks and laundry area with fitted washing machine and tumble dryer. Or an office with extra storage. Forward in the VIP stateroom, guests will feel right at home with the high headroom of 6ft 7 inches. The guest bathroom has stainless steel features and a separate walk in shower and easy access to the upper deck.
